Released between Who Are You and Face Dances, Empty Glass is widely regarded as Pete Townshend's finest solo work. Featuring the anthemic Let My Love Open The Door, the raw opener Rough Boys, and the introspective title track, it's a bold, personal statement from The Who's creative force. This UK pressing includes the printed inner sleeve with lyrics and credits, plus the original poster. A label variation: this copy carries "℗ 1980 Atlantic Recording Corp." rather than the Eel Pie Recording Productions credit.
