A preowned UK pressing of Elton John's live album 17-11-70 on Pickwick Records.
Recorded during a live radio concert broadcast on WABC-FM in New York on 17th November 1970, this album captures Elton John and his band at their raw, early best. Featuring extended versions of Burn Down The Mission, Take Me To The Pilot, and a cover of the Rolling Stones' Honky Tonk Women, it's an essential document of Elton's formative years. Tapes were mixed at Trident Studios, London. A Pickwick International product — note this pressing has Pickwick on both label and cover, distinct from the Hallmark and EMI variants.
