Music finds Madonna moving into electronic, house and downtempo territory across eleven tracks, including the title hit and "Don't Tell Me". This Singapore import was recorded across Sarm East and Sarm West in London, Guerilla Beach in Los Angeles and The Hit Factory in New York, then mixed at Olympic Studios by Mark "Spike" Stent and mastered at Metropolis Studios by Tim Young ("American Pie" separately mastered by Howie Weinberg at Master Disk, NYC). A small printing quirk from the source packaging: the booklet's manufacturing panel is misprinted as "Manufactured In The Singapore" rather than "Manufactured In Singapore" — an original error on the disc itself, not a listing mistake.
