It’s quite apparent, that said luthiers are football fans and fans of action films, as this incredible guitar plays homage to both the American superhero film Deadpool, based on the Marvel Comics character, starring Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds who, along with American actor Rob McElhenney, have taken over Wrexham AFC, one of the oldest football clubs in the UK.
Based on the classic V100 from the popular Vintage ReIssued Series of electric guitars and basses, this striking model now features hand-drawn decals based on graphics from the blockbuster movie which, along with the football club’s colourful logo, have been applied to the solid maple cap of the double-bound mahogany body and headstock, and authentically aged with a subtle approach, the way only the Vintage ProShop team know how.
This striking model retains the time-honoured hardware that has earned the V6, enormous respect from musicians around the world. Aged hardware that includes Grover® tuners, a pair of Wilkinson W90SK soap bar pickups capturing the defined lows and throaty mids of a double coil, and a Wilkinson T.O.M. bridge enabling fine-tuning of each string for superb intonation, the full length of the 22 fret rosewood fingerboard.
Additional fine touches include Rob/Ryan graphic artwork on the pickup selector
switch chip, whilst aged hardware also includes revolver-bullet-chamber themed control knobs.
